ClearlyRated helps B2B firms credibly differentiate themselves based on their service.
There aren't any technical bits that you have to worry about when setting up the Bullhorn Survey Automation integration (we'll handle that!), but we wanted to lift the curtain back a little bit and provide some more detailed information about what goes into making the automation work. Click on any of the screenshots to view them full size!
Configuring the automation happens from inside your Dashboard, and our team will take the lead on the setup. The screenshot below shows the custom programming language we use to talk to Bullhorn's API to pull your contacts for automated surveys.
Important facts:
Below is a screenshot showing an example of the automation schedule our team will create for you.
Some things to note here:
You can designate users to receive an email notification after every automation data pull. The email contains a brief summary of how many contacts were successfully pulled from Bullhorn, with a link to the Automation Run Summary, which logs every automation event and is always available in your Dashboard as well.

You'll have access to your entire automation history in the Audit Log.
No - this would require our integration to write data to Bullhorn, which it does not do.
It depends! Because our integration does not write any data to Bullhorn, anything that would require that type of interaction wouldn't be possible. However, our integration can read data that already exists in Bullhorn, including data created using these other automation tools.
Most of our clients that use one of ClearlyRated's Bullhorn integrations also use Sense and/or Herefish, and we're never experienced any problems or bugs - they happily coexist side-by-side.
Yes! You can use our Survey Automation integration to send push notification survey invites through WorkN, helping your surveys reach your placed talent on the devices they use the most.
Yes! Our tool has many QC checks built in, for example for bad first names or invalid email addresses. Any errors it can't correct will automatically be removed from the upload (and they'll be noted in the Automation Run Summary). Contact removal does not ordinarily stop the automation process. The automation process would only pause (and notify you) for larger issues: such as zero contacts, if that wasn't to be expected; or an upload with more invalid than valid contacts, suggesting something may not be configured correctly or something has gone wrong in Bullhorn.
Survey fatigue is real, and our tool has built-in suppression rules to make sure that your candidates aren't being overwhelmed with surveys that could affect engagement.
If a candidate shows up in a contact list, but has already taken a survey with the suppression period, they will automatically be removed from that survey. The suppression period is customizable, but generally set at three months for surveys on a monthly cadence, and six weeks for those on a weekly cadence.
