ClearlyRated helps B2B firms credibly differentiate themselves based on their service by blending a short, client satisfaction survey with an online profile highlighting star ratings and testimonials earned by the firm. The VP of Marketing is responsible for the vision and execution of the ClearlyRated brand and marketing programs. Working with stakeholders across the organization, the VP of Marketing will support the organization’s communication and content needs while guiding strategic growth initiatives and demand generation efforts to unlock new revenue. The VP of Marketing will have the exciting opportunity to grow a highly-reputable brand (see our ratings and reviews on Google – https://www.google.com/search?q=clearlyrated, G2- https://www.g2.com/products/clearlyrated/reviews, and Glassdoor-https://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/ClearlyRated-Reviews-E777877.htm) and will similarly inherit the responsibility of maintaining the ClearlyRated brand reputation in every aspect of our communications strategy. Most importantly, we’re looking for a VP of Marketing who can grow with the ClearlyRated organization. If you’re a B2B marketing leader who has a track record of successful product marketing, sales enablement, who understands the power of the client voice in marketing, and who loves to experiment and grow, this role might be for you.
Skills & Requirements
The key to success in this position is the ability to engage stakeholders, build plans, execute, learn, and repeat. The Marketing function at ClearlyRated touches every aspect of the business, as such, your capacity for strategic planning, consensus-building, and internal communication will be critical to success. The VP of Marketing will lead a team of internal marketing staff as well as three market research analysts, oversee the performance and project priorities of marketing vendors and freelance resources, manage and measure outcomes from key marketing partnerships, as well as guide awareness of, education about, and confidence in the ClearlyRated marketing function across the entire staff. You’ll draw on your past experience as a growth-oriented marketing leader to build and execute on strategy, and rely on your team-oriented approach and communication skills to prioritize collaboration and transparency in all of your efforts.

We have weekly Beer and Strategy meetings where the entire company comes together (virtually or in-person) and company leaders transparently shares how the company is doing financially, track our progress on the company’s goals, and updates the team on strategy for the direction of the company. We have been functioning as a remote company since the pandemic started and will be shifting to permanently be a remote-first company when it is over. We will still have an office in downtown Portland, OR with the option to work in-person, remote or a hybrid.
